Three new residential buildings appeared on the Spree quay area with a total of 62 residential and 10 commercial units in compliance with the passive-house and KfW40 standards. A controlled ventilation system with heat recovery ensures optimum air quality. The air supply occurs primarily via decentralized ventilation equipment. Heat, potable/warm water and an optional cold supply are realized via a combined energy center by a geothermal heat pump, a CHP unit, a gas condensing boiler and a heat accumulator. The construction costs for the technical building equipment (HLS) amounted to € 1.5 million net.
